  DY the thing is this...
  It doesn't matter what he wanted to do with his life. It's HIS life, he gets to choose.
  That's number one.
  Number two who are you to judge his appearance? In urban settings the 'saggy pants' and 'ear rings' are worn by many types of young men, many of whom are pretty great guys, I know because they live around me.
  Number three, immoral in whose eyes? Yours?
  Still doesn't mean that what he said was wrong, still doesn't mean that JWs shunning is right.
  And in the end a person needs to be allowed to make certain life choices about their path without worrying they'll lose their entire world.
  Even if he wanted to go off and have sex with thirteen women and one man in one night, still not a reason to cut him off from loving family.

  Is it Time to Declare that The Great Tribulation Has Started ?

  i don't really engage in doctrinal discussions about jw's anymore.

  they seem to say some pretty crazy stuff.

  but i have read some threads discussing doctrinal changes and how watchtower is really out of ideas and money at the same time.

  After watching the bunker videos (that was creepy) and thinking about what you said OTWO..
  They're setting it up totally to start the GT soon.
  Absolutely.
  
  They're getting their brains twisted into complete compliance. Then they'll change the message to 'one of judgement' (because now they're Jonah and John) and then something is going to happen. This is getting more and more Davidian/Jones' like and it's freakin me out.

  unbelievable paragraph in yesterday's watchtower was "encouraging" the sheep to not have kids.

  most of their growth comes from the born ins and they are still on about not having kids?.

  then it went on to "encourage" those that do have kids or grandkids not to spend to much time with them and instead to spend their time serving kingdom interests!.

  bringing together all of the stories they told thus far and placing them int he "new world" complete with the little boy who was killed in a car accident coming back from the dead.. i have a good friend who is stuck in with family and plays the role.

  he said everyone was crying, and the people next to him rated the videos by how many tissues they needed to dry their eyes.

  I don't know if you guys ever noticed but a good number of their kingdom songs were rip offs. I'd be working a cleaning job humming a kingdom song (yes I'm that person) and then it'd hit me 'wait this is exactly like _________ hymn'. Thing is, since they're not technically making money it (not for profit) and such then who's gonna call 'em out?

  Wait, so this essentially is saying that Charles T Russell had no spiritual authority whatsoever. In other words, by doing this it seems like what they're going to be able to say is "oh you can't hold those dates against us."

  what about this change?
